Activities ranging from the easternmost unit of Indonesia to the westernmost, namely the Holtekamp PLTU Unit and Pangkalan Susu PLTU are a form of PLN IP’s concern for environmental sustainability.
Edwin Nugraha Putra added that PLN IP always upholds a commitment to protect the environment with every business process carried out now always paying attention to ESG elements.
“We as PLN Group people are always committed to participating in environmental conservation efforts promoted by the government and always pay attention to ESG elements, such as increasing the development of EBT, innovation in the form of co-firing PLTU from waste which is now a way or breakthrough in helping the government overcome waste problems, to FABA management which is no less beneficial,” explained Edwin.
In addition to collecting 230 tons of waste, PLN Indonesia Power also planted trees such as mangroves, shrimp cypress, and also transplanted coral reefs around the Coastal Clean Up activity location.
