Jabar Ekspres – The Traffic Directorate of Metro Jaya Police will once again hold a motorcycle street race
on June 24-25, 2023 in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.
“The sixth ‘street race’ will be held on 24-25, namely in Kemayoran,” said Metro Jaya Police Traffic Director Kombes Pol Latif Usman in a written statement received by Indonesia Window here on Saturday.
Latif hopes this activity can be useful for people who love automotive hobbies.
“Hopefully it can be utilized by automotive lovers and this can be a vehicle for lovers who are usually on the streets for us to unite in a place, namely in Kemayoran at the implementation of the Kapolda Cup this year,” he said.
Latif also explained that registration opened on June 12, 2023 with almost the same race category as the previous activity.

However, Latif added, the concept of street racing will be slightly different because it is approaching the 77th Anniversary of Bhayangkara on July 1, 2023.
“Of course this is in the context of the July 1 celebration too, there will be several concepts of activities to balance, accompany the ‘street race’ activities,” he said.
This activity has taken place in five series in different locations. The first was held in Ancol on January 15, 2022 with 347 participants from Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek).
The second race continued on April 22-24, 2022 at BSD, South Tangerang, Banten, which was attended by 688 participants.
The third series was held on June 18-19, 2022 at Meikarta Bekasi, followed by 308 participants from Jabodetabek and provinces in Java.
Then the fourth event was held in Kemayoran on September 4-5, 2022, which was attended by 1,285 participants.
The fifth series was held at Jalan Benyamin Sueb, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, on January 27-29, 2023. Polda Metro Jaya recorded 1,124 participants from Jabodetabek and a number of provinces.
