JABAR EKSPRES – Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh on Thursday (June 8) said that Israel is seeking to fully reoccupy the West Bank.
“What is happening is the complete reoccupation of the West Bank, whether it is Area A, or B or C,” Shtayyeh said in a statement.
On Thursday morning, Israeli forces demolished the home of one of the Palestinian prisoners in the West Bank.
The house belonged to Islam Froukh, who is accused by Israel of carrying out a bomb attack at a bus station in Jerusalem last year that killed two Israelis.

The action displaced Froukh’s parents and four siblings.
Shtayyeh called Israel’s demolition of the house a “heinous crime” that left Froukh’s entire family homeless.
“This collective punishment, which has never happened in history, is an attempt by the (Israeli) occupation to demoralize our people,” the PM said.
According to the 1995 Oslo Accords between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, is divided into three parts – Area A, B and C.
The Israeli military often demolishes the homes of Palestinians accused of carrying out attacks against Israelis, a policy that has drawn criticism from human rights groups as a form of collective punishment.
