JABAR EKSPRES – French stocks ended higher on Thursday trading local time (6/8/2023), reversing gains from the previous session’s decline, with the benchmark CAC 40 index on the Paris Stock Exchange rising 0.27 percent or 19.36 points to settle at 7,222.15 points.
The CAC 40 index slipped 0.09 percent or 6.21 points to 7,202.79 points on Wednesday (6/7/2023), after gaining 0.11 percent or 8.09 points to 7,209.00 points on Tuesday (6/6/2023), and slumping 0.96 percent or 69.78 points to 7,200.91 points on Monday (6/5/2023).
Of the 40 stocks of selected large companies that are components of the CAC 40 index, 27 stocks managed to gain, while 13 other stocks suffered losses.

Alstom SA, a French multinational company that develops and markets integrated systems for the transportation sector, rose 2.61 percent, becoming the top gainer of the leading stocks or blue chips.
Followed by shares of multinational automotive manufacturing company resulting from the merger between Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and PSA Group, Stellantis NV, which increased by 1.51 percent; and the tire, auto parts and other products industry company, Compagnie Generale des Etablissements Michelin SCA also boosted 1.51 percent.
Meanwhile, Worldline SA, a French multinational payment and transactional services company suffered the most losses (top loser) among the leading stocks, with its share price slipping 1.48 percent.
This was followed by shares of customer relationship management services company Teleperformance SE, which lost 1.23 percent; and French laboratory group providing testing and support services to the pharmaceutical, food, environmental, agriscience and consumer products industries Eurofins Scientific SE, which lost 1.16 percent.
