JABAR EKSPRES – Paramore merilis album barunya ‘This Is Why’ pada Jumat, 10 Februari lalu. Ini adalah album keenam setelah hampir enam tahun mereka merilis album terakhirnya ‘After Laughter’ pada tahun 2017.
This Is Why menerima skor 85 dari 100 pada agregator ulasan Metacritic berdasarkan ulasan 17 kritikus yang menunjukkan pengakuan universal.
Secara musikal, mereka menambahkan gitar indie Noughties dan tekstur synth tahun 80-an ke suara poppy yang mereka jelajahi di After Laughter dan semua itu menjadi semburan lagu yang mendesak.
Lirik lagunya juga yang mendesak oleh pandemi dan pengaruhnya terhadap kelompok milenial dan Gen-Z. Judul lagu pertama mereka juga membuka album dengan adegan neurosis pasca-Covid.
