JABAR EKSPRES – Donald Trump becoming the first ex-President of the United States to ever faced with criminal charges. He was indicted by the Manhattan grand jury last week for bribing an adult movie star.
Donald Trump was seen, surprisingly remained calm, after indicted by the Manhattan jury – spends his weekend playing golf in Florida.
He is facing for more than 30 counts relating to fraudulent activities in business, but the indictment still sealed.
Donald Trump is expected to leave Florida on Monday noon and will stay at Trump Tower and is expected to depart for New York immediately.
All trials and other court activities is being delayed before his arrival at the Manhattan courthouse on Tuesday.
He will be scheduled for taking fingerprints by the investigators and taking a mugshot. Sources that were familiar with the preparations said they were uncertain that there would be a mugshot or not due to Trump’s appearance is ‘widely known’ and authorities were all concerned that there would be a violation of state law because of improper leaking of the picture, quoted from CNN.
There would be no expectation for Trump to be handcuffed, because he will be surrounded by federal agents with weapons for his protection.
“Obviously, this is different. This has never happened before. I have never had Secret Service involved in an arraignment before at 100 Centre Street,” Trump’s lawyer Joe Tacopina said on CNN’s ‘State of the Union’ on Sunday.
Some media outlets in the United States have asked a judge from New York to reveal the indictment and for permission to do a broadcast.
But if the judge does not grant all the media outlets’ request, it will be expected that the indictment will go public by the time he appears in the court.
