JABAR EKSPRES – Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono invites Singaporean investors not to hesitate to invest in the National Capital City (IKN) of the Archipelago, East Kalimantan.
“We hope this visit will be memorable for Singapore and most importantly not just interested, but start making decisions to invest in IKN Nusantara. Because there have been many MOUs and LoIs entered, and now is the right time for execution,” Basuki said in his statement in Jakarta, (5/31)
He hopes that with this visit, Singaporean investors will not hesitate to make decisions because it will have a positive impact on the cooperation between the two countries in the future, especially in the investment plan to develop the IKN Nusantara.
Basuki Hadimuljono welcomes the presence of 95 investors from Singapore in the IKN development project area which is one of a series of Singapore Business Visit to IKN Nusantara activities in East Kalimantan, Wednesday.
In front of the Singaporean investors, Basuki emphasized that the development of IKN Nusantara has been carried out by the Indonesian Government. And IKN Nusantara is no longer a dream, but has begun to be realized in real terms.
“The provision of basic infrastructure will be the responsibility of the Ministry of PUPR until Phase I in 2024 and then it will continue in stages. Because the development of IKN is not an artist drawing but an engineering drawing that will be implemented,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the IKN Development Implementation Task Force of the Ministry of PUPR Danis H Sumadilaga also said, in Phase I the Indonesian Government developed the IKN Government Center Core Area (KIPP) in zone 1A.
“Seeing is believing, on the site visit later we will see firsthand the construction process in zone 1A. Currently, the physical progress of the construction has reached 29.45 percent,” Danis said.
