JABAR EKSPRES – Saudi Arabia on Monday (29/5) said it had executed two Bahraini men accused of plotting acts of terrorism.
In a statement, the Saudi Interior Ministry said the two had been found guilty of “joining a terrorist cell and planning actions targeting the security of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain”.
According to the ministry, the cell was led by a man wanted by Bahraini authorities.
The ministry also said that the cell received training in camps in cahoots with terrorist organizations to “destabilize the security of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain… and to communicate with terrorists in Saudi Arabia to carry out terrorist acts.”
There has been no statement from Bahraini authorities regarding the report.
