JABAR EKSPRES – “Alhamdulillah, since February 2023, RSUD Murjani has been appointed as one of the service center hospitals for four types of degenerative diseases by the Ministry of Health,” said Acting Director of RSUD dr Murjani Sampit, dr Sutriso in Sampit, Friday (5/19).
For the service of the four types of diseases, RSUD Murjani will be supported by other hospitals that already have good competence in the service of each disease.
The guardian or companion of heart services, namely from Harapan Kita Hospital, the guardian of cancer services from Darmais Hospital, the guardian of stroke services from RSCM, and the guardian of diabetes mellitus services also from RSCM Jakarta.
With this appointment, RSUD Murjani is expected to be assisted by the Ministry of Health for facilities and infrastructure. As for cancer treatment, RSUD Murjani received equipment support from the Ministry of Health.
The hospital also hopes that the Ministry of Health will assist the ICCU (Intensive Cardiology Care Unit) room for degenerative diseases, especially health patients. This is because the treatment of heart patients requires a special room.

“There are many heart patients. Up to 50 people a day. Currently, the doctor has arrived. Hopefully, starting June 1, we will be able to install heart rings so that patients no longer need to go all the way to hospitals outside the region,” Sutriso hoped.
Another thing that the hospital is fighting for is permission for BPJS Health to also cover the cost of chemotherapy services for cancer patients. Currently, chemotherapy services at this hospital are utilized by general patients or those whose treatment costs are not covered by BPJS Health.
This proposal received support from the Ministry of Health, which asked BPJS Kesehatan to allow this. The hospital hopes that this proposal can be granted starting June 1.
