Trans Studio Makassar Fire, Victims Still Being Treated

JABAR EKSPRES – A fire occurred at Trans Studio Mall Makassar on Monday (24/4).

A video circulated and went viral on social media showing a fire incident at Trans Studio Mall Makassar. Making the visitors panic run to save themselves.

The fire at Trans Studio Mall Makassar started with a photobooth on the first floor and spread to the second floor. Based on TKP processing, Kapolrestabes Makassar. Kom Bes Mokhamad Ngajib said the fire spread quickly because there were lots of decorative lights.

“The first fire appeared at the location of the photo booth floor 1 on the northeast side with a height of 4 meters,” said Ngajib, Thursday (27/4).

“The fire then grabbed the synthetic flowers around it. This is the cause of the fire,” he explained.

Kom Bes Mokhamad Ngajib conducted an examination of 7 eyewitnesses who witnessed the fire incident.

“From the development of the fire at TSM, we have examined 7 witnesses. The seven people were witnesses at the time of the incident and included TSM staff,” he said.

Kadinkes City of Makassar, dr. Nursaidah Sirajuddin, revealed that out of a total of 64 victims, the remaining three people were still being treated at the hospital.

“There are at Siloam Hospital, Stella Maris Hospital, and Academic Hospital. Each person is one person. That’s information at 11 o’clock, but I haven’t monitored tonight, whether they have gone home or not,” said dr. Nursaidah Sirajuddin to dawn.co.id, quoted by JabarEkspres.com, Thursday (27/4).

Out of a total of 64 victims, 54 victims underwent outpatient care and 10 victims were under observation.
