Officers with the help of the community tried to save the victim by making a tool made of bamboo and a mine, then the tool was thrust to the victim who had been tossed in the sea but was still close to the reef where the victim fell.
“Luckily the victim was able to grab the mine which was then successfully pulled ashore. The victim was immediately evacuated to the nearest security post to be given first aid by medical personnel,” he said.
Roni urged tourists to always pay attention to safety signs installed at various points of the southern coastal tourist attraction of Sukabumi Regency and obey the appeals of security officers to avoid unwanted events such as sea accidents and others.
