JABAR EKSPRES – The Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) allows Kemenkumham state civil apparatus (ASN) to extend leave to avoid congestion at the peak of the return flow.
“ASN Kemenkumham is allowed to delay returning to Jakarta by using the annual leave scheme by taking into account the composition of the number of employees so that public services continue to run well and optimally in accordance with existing regulations,” said the Secretary General of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Komjen Pol. Andap Budhi Revianto, on Monday (24/4).
The statement followed up on President Joko Widodo’s appeal to postpone the return to avoid traffic jams, as well as based on a letter from ad interim Menpan RB Mahfud MD which called for restrictions on the organization of activities after the Eid al-Fitr 1444 H celebrations.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights also canceled the plan to check the attendance of employees within the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. Initially, the event was to be held on April 26, 2023, followed by a halalbihalal event on April 27, 2023.
“Canceled. The Halalbihalal event which was planned for April 27, 2023, will be held in conjunction with the Correctional Service Day Ceremony on May 2, 2023 at 08.00 WIB,” said Andap.
Previously, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menkopolhukam) Mahfud MD issued an instruction as Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) ad interim that all government offices postpone the implementation of halal bihalal Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijri or 2023 AD.
Mahfud made the announcement through a post on his official Instagram account, @mohmahfudmd, on Monday, in which he instructed government offices to start conducting halalbihalal and similar activities in the second week after Eid.
“All government offices, namely the Offices of Ministries / Non-Ministerial Institutions / State Owned Enterprises / TNI / Police, if planning Halal Bihalal and the like should be postponed until the beginning of the second week after Eid al-Fitr 1444 H,” Mahfud wrote in his upload.
