JABAR EKSPRES– “Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” movie took first place in box office North America for the period Friday (31/3) to Sunday (2/4), overtook “John Wick 4” which last week took control of that position.
The film adaptation of the role-playing game (RPG) debut grossed an estimated $38.5 million from 3,855 North American theaters, according to Box Office Mojo’s website as of Monday.

For its debut in the international market, the film “Dungeons and Dragons” grossed 33 million US dollars (Rp. 494.7 billion). Thus, its total gross income globally reached 71.5 million US dollars (Rp 1.07 trillion).
Also showing in Indonesian theaters starting Thursday (29/3), this film follows the story of a poet-musician who wants to atone for past mistakes by stealing an ancient relic that is thought to be able to bring back the dead.
Meanwhile, the level box office followed by “John Wick: Chapter 4” which added another $28.2 million in North America in its second weekend of release.

Despite being in second place, the fourth film from the “John Wick” franchise has been recorded to have pocketed US$244.87 million (Rp.3.67 trillion) globally. In detail, the film starring Keanu Reeves collected US$122.87 (Rp.1.84 trillion) from the North American market and US$122 million (Rp.1.82 trillion) from markets outside North America.
Then third to fifthbox office followed by the films “His Only Son”, which earned US$5.5 million (Rp. 82.4 billion), “Scream VI” with US$5.3 million (Rp.79.4 billion), and “Creed III” with US$5 million. (Rp 74.9 billion).
