Jabar Ekspres – Pradita Dirgantara High School in Boyolali (SMA PD) participated in the world record-breaking or so-called Guinness World of Records (GWR) Angklung 2023 held at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), on Saturday (5/8).
The angklung performance record recorded by Guinness World Records (GWR) was attended by 15,110 participants from all over the archipelago, said Head of Public Relations of Pradita Dirgantara High School, Nanang Sari Atmanto, in Boyolali, Sunday.

Nanang said that the world record breaking was initiated by the Organization for Solidarity Action of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet Era (OASE KIM) which is an association of the wives of members of the Advanced Indonesia cabinet and is one of the efforts in supporting the preservation of the nation’s culture.
“Angklung has also received world recognition as a Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Human Cultural Heritage from UNESCO since November 2010,” Nanang said.
In fact, Mrs. Nanny Hadi Tjahjanto as the founder of SMA PD who was also present on the occasion was also proud and encouraged the 80 students of SMA Pradita Dirgantara who were also present at GBK.
Nanny Hadi Tjahjanto said that the participation of SMA Pradita Dirgantara is a form of love for Indonesian culture. Evidently, not only in West Java, this angklung is loved by all Indonesian people.

Together with thousands of other participants, SMA PD students also sang the national song Berkibarlah Benderaku created by Mrs. Nanny Hadi Tjahjanto.
