“Although we are dealing with rapid world changes in various aspects, it is important for us to maintain our cultural identity that has many good values for the survival of our life and civilization,” Teddy explained.

The 2023 Asian African Festival was attended by delegates from 17 Asian-African countries, including countries such as Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Libya, Sudan, Philippines, Syria, Nigeria, Kenya, North Korea, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, India, Laos, Malaysia, Thailand, and Mozambique.

In addition to cultural parades from these countries, the event also featured cultural arts performances from local Bandung performers such as Ega Robot Ethnic and Manshur Angklung, as well as national and international artists. (*)
