JABAR EKSPRES – The scriptwriter of the Korean drama Revenant starring Kim Tae Ri revealed a horror experience while doing research to write the script.
This was revealed by Kim Eun Hee as the scriptwriter and director of the film Jang Hang Jun when she was a guest star on Yoo Jae Suk’s YouTube show ‘Just An Excuse’.
Kim Eun Hee revealed that there was a scariest and hair-raising place she visited while doing research with her crew in a rural area.
She and the crew had to follow a ritual in a village guided by the tribal chief.

“One time we participated in a ritual in a village near the sea. It was done at night, it was so dark that you couldn’t see anything, except for a few lights. And you are surrounded by the sound of people participating in the ritual,” he said on Saturday, June 24, 2023.
“After the ritual, the village chief told us, ‘From now on, however, you cannot look back. If you look back, evil spirits will attach themselves to you.’ So we had to find our way back, and it was so dark that we couldn’t see, but I remember none of us looking back,” she said.
“Even when someone called out, ‘Director’, to ask a question, he wouldn’t look back, but answered while looking at the ground in front of him,” she added with a laugh.
Despite having goosebumps during the experience, Kim Eun Hee laughed as she revealed that she wrote down the incident and incorporated the experience into her latest drama.
In addition to her own experience, Kim Eun Hee shared another ghost story she heard from a coworker among the crew.
“This is a story I heard from my close coworkers. Sometimes, when the staff visited rural locations for filming, they would stay in run-down inns. She was part of the costume team, and she shared a room with another coworker. They went to bed, and she noticed that the coworker, who was not known to be sensitive with others, kept snuggling up to her. So she wondered, ‘Why is this person suddenly so close to me?’,” Kim Eun Hee revealed.
