JABAR EKSPRES – Indonesian Ambassador to the United States Rosan Roeslani said the government of the Republic of Indonesia is preparing a viewing facility to welcome the historic moment of the Satellite of the Republic of Indonesia 1 (SATRIA-1) launch for Indonesians in the US during the launch at Cape Canaveral, US.
The viewing event is set to take place from Space View Park located at 17 Orange St, Titusville, Florida, USA.
“So the plan is indeed to watch together, because this is indeed a historic moment and the impact is extraordinary for Indonesia so we inform and ask them (Indonesians in the US) to pray for a smooth launch,” Rosan said at a press conference on SATRIA-1 launch preparations in Orlando, Florida, USA, Saturday.
Indonesians interested in witnessing the SATRIA-1 launch can visit Space View Park starting at 4.30pm local time.

Rosan also revealed that he was personally enthusiastic about the launch of SATRIA-1 because it means there will be more internet access available that can support the acceleration of Indonesia’s digital transformation.
With its utilization available in public facilities such as schools, he is optimistic that Indonesian people in underdeveloped, frontier, outermost (3T) areas can increase their capacity to become superior digital human resources and talents.
