Jabar Ekspres – The weather in Florida, United States is observed to be sunny ahead of the launch of the Republic of Indonesia Satellite 1 (SATRIA-1) which is scheduled to take place at 18.05 local time.
Meanwhile, based on ANTARA’s observation in Orlando, Florida, USA at 09.45 local time, there were only a few clouds visible with a temperature of 77 fahrenheit equivalent to 26 degrees Celsius.
Likewise, the weather at the SATRIA-1 launch site, Cape Canaveral Space Launch Complex, Florida, USA, based on data from the US National Weather Service, also showed similar conditions.

Sunny weather with few clouds prevailed at Cape Canaveral, USA with temperatures around 80 degrees Fahrenheit or equivalent to 27 degrees Celsius. It is expected that this sunny weather will remain until SATRIA-1 is launched and reaches the sky.
Previously, PT Satelit Nusantara Tiga (SNT), which is trusted by Kominfo’s BAKTI Public Service Agency in the SATRIA-1 project, revealed that weather is one of the important factors in satellite launches.
“We will see later on June 18, at six in the afternoon whether the weather will be favorable or not. Let us pray that the weather is favorable and that nothing else delays this launch,” Heru said in Orlando, Florida, USA, Thursday (15/6).
According to Heru, with clear weather, the satellite launch will usually be smoother to take off.
SATRIA-1 is scheduled to launch into space with SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket at the Cape Canaveral Space Launch Complex this Sunday, June 18, 2023 at 6:05 pm.
After successfully launching, the satellite, which is prepared to bring internet to Indonesian people in the foremost, disadvantaged, outermost (3T) areas, will fill the orbit at 146 East Longitude (BT).

Until Saturday night, it was known that SATRIA-1, which had been integrated with Falcon 9, had been brought to the launch pad to be positioned vertically.
