Three French goals each were scored by Oliver Giroud, Kylian Mbappe and Aymen Mouelhi’s suicide.
The visitors were immediately ahead when the game had only been running for three minutes. Kingsley Coman moved on the right and fired a cross which Olivier Giroud headed into the goal of Gibraltar goalkeeper Dayle Coleing. France took a 1-0 lead.
France added to the lead towards the end of the first half after the referee awarded a penalty due to Roy Chipolina’s handball. Kylian Mbappe stepped forward as the executor and successfully changed the score to 2-0.

France scored again in the 78th minute. This time from an own goal, after Mbappe’s low cross hit Aymen Mouelhi and into his own net.
There were no additional goals until the match ended. France won 3-0 and are still perfect from three matches in Group B of the 2024 European Cup Qualifiers.
Didier Deschamps’ side lead Group B with nine points, followed by Greece and the Netherlands who have three points each.
While Gibraltar is still without numbers at the bottom of the standings, losing on goal difference to the Republic of Ireland.
