JABAR EKSPRES – The government of Saudi Arabia stated that it loves Indonesian Muslims with the largest number in the world (in line with the World Population Review 2021 data which notes that Indonesia is the country with the largest Muslim population with 231 million people).
Deputy Chairman of Public Relations and Media of the Prophet’s Mosque Sa’ad Al Asmari stated this when holding a gathering between the Media Center of the Prophet’s Mosque and the Media Center of PPIH Saudi Arabia Daker Madinah, Wednesday (6/14).
The meeting was attended by Head of the Madinah Working Area (Kadaker) Zaenal Muttaqin, Secretary of the Madinah Daker Abdillah, Head of the Special Sector (Kaseksus) Jasaruddin, and a number of journalists.
“The Government of Saudi Arabia and the Prophet’s Management really love Muslims in Indonesia. We will fulfill the facility needs of Indonesian pilgrims and Muslims who will visit the Prophet’s Mosque so that their worship can be calm, comfortable, and solemn,” he said.

During the week, he said, pilgrims who make pilgrimages and pray at the Prophet’s Mosque can reach seven to eight million people.
In addition, in a week, the Prophet’s Mosque releases about 600,000 bottles of zamzam water and operates 107 golf carts and 6,000 language liaisons.
“For comfort, the Nabawi management prepares all facilities, cleanliness, and carpets. The point is for the safety and comfort of the congregation with maximum effort,” he said.
Head of Daker Madinah Zaenal Muttaqin thanked the Saudi Arabian government for the cooperation that has been established so far, including the provision of wheelchair assistance for a number of members of the Indonesian congregation.
“This is the first history of cooperation. From the head of the Prophet’s Mosque Media Center, he invited the media crew to convey the best news about the condition of the Prophet’s Mosque,” said Zaenal.
