JABAR EKSPRES – Stocks on the German bourse ended higher on Tuesday trading local time (6/13/2023), extending a rally for the second consecutive session, with the benchmark DAX 40 index on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange gaining 0.83 percent or 132.81 points to settle at 16,230.68 points.
The DAX 40 index lifted 0.93 percent or 148.03 points to 16,097.87 points on Monday, after dropping 0.25 percent or 40.12 points to 15,949.84 points on Friday, and increasing 0.18 percent or 29.40 points to 15,989.96 points on Thursday.
Of the 40 stocks of selected large companies that are components of the DAX 40 index, 29 stocks managed to record profits, while 11 other stocks suffered losses.

The Frankfurt Stock Exchange as of September 20, 2021 officially expanded the DAX 30 index component to 40 stocks or became the DAX 40 index.
Covestro AG, a German company that produces polyurethane and polycarbonate-based raw materials, increased 2.83 percent, becoming the top gainer among blue chips.
Followed by shares of the company that provides online sales of fashion accessories for men and women Zalando SE increased by 2.59 percent; and the company that produces sports shoes, equipment and sporting goods German multinational Adidas AG lifted 2.35 percent.
On the other hand, Vonovia SE, a European multinational property and real estate developer posted the biggest loss (top loser) among the leading stocks, with its share price falling 1.70 percent.
Followed by shares of energy company offering power generation and transmission, technical consulting, and operation and maintenance services Siemens Energy AG lost 0.80 percent; and diversified chemicals company producing perfume oils, fragrance bases and cosmetic raw materials Symrise AG fell 0.61 percent.
