Jota Wants Liverpool to Return to Winning Ways Next Season

JABAR EKSPRES – Liverpool FC striker Diogo Jota said the 2023/2024 season was the right season for his team to return to the championship path after stumbling and only finishing in fifth place in the Premier League in the 2022/2023 season with 67 points.

“We are a club that fights for titles and next season we have the perfect opportunity to do that,” said Jota, quoted from the club’s official website, Tuesday.

Jota did not perform optimally last season because he was hit by a hamstring injury at the start of the season and a calf injury from October 2022 until early February.
