Ginting again showed his dominance over Antonsen like their previous meeting. Through net play and crossing smes, Ginting successfully tore apart the defense of his opponent who had difficulty reading the direction of the shuttlecock.
Five consecutive points were pocketed by Ginting to approach match point to 19-8. Unfortunately, Ginting’s steps were not smooth because Antonsen still provided resistance after having more courage to play in the front zone.
