JABAR EKSPRES – Shane Lukas’ lawyer, Happy Sihombing, said Mario Dandy Satriyo (20) had an influence in the detention cell that could affect his client’s psychological pressure.
“There are 10 people in the detention cell and Mario does have influence and many people approach him,” Happy said when contacted in Jakarta on Saturday.
Happy said his request to the panel of judges that Shane not be in the same room with Mario Dandy was so that his client could filter his relationships.
Moreover, his client must focus on the next trial so that unwanted things are not expected to happen.
Meanwhile, Shane’s father, Tagor Lumbantoruan, said that his son is obedient, impressionable and has high sympathy so that he easily trusts other people.
“As a parent, it is wrong this time to teach children, to be humble, to maintain good manners and respect for elders, always like that,” said Tagor.
Tagor regretted that her son was also moved from Cipinang to Salemba because of the viral cable ties case, even though Shane was not involved.
The panel of judges has granted the request of defendant Shane Lukas (19) to be separated from defendant Mario Dandy Satriyo (20) in the Salemba Correctional Institution (Lapas), Central Jakarta.
“The panel has responded, so your request is granted,” said Chief Judge of the South Jakarta District Court, Alimin Ribut Sujono in a hearing at the South Jakarta District Court (Jaksel), Tuesday (6/6).
Previously, both of them occupied cells in Salemba Prison, Central Jakarta.
Alimin added that if Shane’s party requested a written stipulation then his party was ready to make one.
Happy Sihombing said the reason his party requested a separate detention cell for his client was to avoid social and psychological pressure from Mario.
Moreover, according to him, the pressure experienced by Shane had been experienced even before the persecution committed by Mario Dandy against the victim David on Monday (20/2).
