JABAR EKSPRES – The coal company CV Prima Mandiri has agreed to repair the damage to the Sangasanga-Dondang Road (Sta. 10+400 – 10+600) in Muara Jawa District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan, which has the status of a provincial road.
“There are nine points of agreement from the meeting with the company and the East Kalimantan Provincial Government,” said Economic and Development Assistant to the East Kalimantan Provincial Secretary Ujang Rahmad after leading a review and meeting with the management of CV Prima Mandiri, Thursday (6/8).
Ujang explained that the handling of provincial road damage up to the aggregate and functioning of the road body will be carried out by the company within the next four months.
For this improvement, the company will first conduct a survey, make a technical study and design of road construction within one month and submit it to the East Kalimantan PUPR Pera Office for evaluation.

During the technical study survey and design, the company will dismantle the road according to the existing damage.
“The company will complete the final paving reconstruction work, no later than February 2024,” said Ujang.
In addition, the company agreed to make a special road for 2-wheeled and 4-wheeled vehicles.
The company will maintain alternative or diversion roads so that they function properly and ensure safety for road users.
Alternative road repairs will continue to be carried out and the company will ensure that alternative roads can continue to be utilized until the completion of provincial road repairs (Sangasanga – Dondang).
“The company will report the progress of repair handling periodically every month to the East Kalimantan Provincial Government through the Bureau of Development Administration of the East Kalimantan Provincial Secretariat,” he said.
Another agreement is that the company will submit a reclamation and rehabilitation design to the provincial government through the ESDM Office within one week.
