Immigration Class 1 Special Surabaya has postponed the departure of 597 non-procedural Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) from January to June 7, 2023. Chiko said that Immigration officers who serve passport making will also tighten their supervision.
“We will always profile people who will make passports,” he added.
With the rise of TPPO perpetrators in Indonesia, Immigration, the Air Force, and the East Java Regional Police are working together with the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency (BP2MI) to eradicate TPPO perpetrators.
