Immigration Opens Passport Services at Cultural Exhibition

JABAR EKSPRES – The South Jakarta Non TPI Special Class I Immigration Office opened passport-making services at regional culture and craft exhibitions in various parts of Indonesia to facilitate applications.

“The existence of this passport service is also one of the promotional events to increase visitors,” said Head of Immigration Office for Special Class I Non TPI South Jakarta Felucia Sengky Ratna at the 19th Gebyar Wisata Nusantara Expo in Jakarta, Thursday (6/8).

As for how to register, visitors go directly to the exhibition of the Directorate General of Immigration to arrange a passport.

In addition, you can also apply through the M-Passport application first. However, in this exhibition, it only serves new passport applications and replacements.

The existence of this service is expected to add to the comfort of visitors while enjoying cultural exhibitions and regional crafts from various regions of Indonesia.

“This is also one of the contributions of the South Jakarta Immigration Office in supporting the preservation of Indonesian regional culture,” he said.

He mentioned that there is a quota of 50 passport applications every day, namely ordinary passports, electronic passports and polycarbonate electronic passports.

One of the applicants named Radit expressed his enthusiasm by feeling the convenience of passport services that can be done in the near future.

“When I saw information about this service through Kanim Jaksel Instagram, I immediately registered and now I have been served well and do not need to queue,” said Radit.

The 19th Gebyar Wisata Nusantara Expo exhibition took place at the Smesco Exhibition Hall, South Jakarta (Jaksel). The passport service is available from Thursday (8/6) to Sunday (11/6).
