JABAR EKSPRES –A hajj candidate who is a member of Flight Group (Kloter) 14 Embarkation Medan from Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra, has been delayed leaving for the Holy Land due to illness.
Medan Embarkation Hajj Public Relations Officer HM Yunus at the Medan Hajj Dormitory on Tuesday explained that the candidate was Khalidah Edi Walid Harahap from Simalungun Regency, with manifest number 66.
“So the hajj candidate Khalidah failed to leave for Medina, while still in Simalungun Regency,” he said.

A total of 357 hajj candidates who are members of Kloter 14 Embarkation Medan departed for Medina from the Medan Hajj Dormitory on Tuesday.
Of the 357 candidates, 201 people from Simalungun Regency, 62 people from Asahan Regency, 60 people from Medan City, 19 people from Tebing Tinggi City, seven people from Langkat Regency, three regional officers from Medan City, five central officers of the Indonesian Hajj Guiding Team (TPHI) and the Indonesian Hajj Health Team (TKHI).
“I hope that the hajj candidates from Kloter 14 can get a mabrur hajj when performing the pilgrimage in the Holy Land,” said Head of the North Sumatra Ministry of Religion H Ahmad Qosbi Nasution, when releasing the departure of Kloter 14 Embarkation Medan.
Qosbi reminded prospective pilgrims to be serious in carrying out the pilgrimage in the Holy Land, multiply prayers, dhikr, and other acts of worship while in Medina and Mecca.
“Because to get a mabrur hajj, is an ideal and a dream for all prospective pilgrims who leave for Mecca,” he said.
