Jakarta Fair Kemayoran Will be Held on June 14-July 16, 2023

JABAR EKSPRES – The longest and largest exhibition in Southeast Asia, Jakarta Fair or Pekan Raya Jakarta (PRJ) Kemayoran is held for 33 days on June 14-July 16, 2023 at the Jakarta International Expo (JIEXPO) Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

Marketing Director of JiExpo Kemayoran, Ralph Scheunemann said, this year’s Jakarta Fair Kemayoran was attended by 2,500 participating companies consisting of 1,500 booths with various superior products with discounted prices.

“There are 2,500 tenants with 1,500 booths, and what is encouraging is that the distribution is approximately 60 percent of the private sector and 40 percent of MSMEs,” said Ralph in a press conference in Jakarta, Wednesday (6/7).

Ralph explained that the Jakarta Fair was held for the 54th time since it was first held in 1968. The annual event was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to enlivening the City of Jakarta’s 466th Anniversary this year, the event is the largest festival and trade show promoting Indonesia’s superior products.

On the same occasion, General Manager of PT JiExpo Oki Setiawan said that the price of Jakarta Fair entrance tickets has not changed.

Since last year, the price of Jakarta Fair entrance tickets has been divided into two, namely valid for exhibitions only and “bundling” including music concert tickets.

“The cheapest start of Rp50,000 already ‘includes’ the Jakarta Fair entrance ticket,” said Oki.

To anticipate the long queue of ticket purchases through the counter, the organizer opens the option of purchasing tickets online through the official website jakartafair.co.id and eventguide.id.

In organizing Jakarta Fair 2022, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government recorded that the transaction value during the 39 days of the event reached Rp7.3 trillion.

The exhibition also successfully attracted 6.9 million visitors after the event was vacuumed for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
