The incident started on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at approximately 8.30pm at the defendant’s house in Griya Anisa Estate II Block B Number 14, Kedaton, Bandarlampung.
At that time, the defendant brought an appointment letter from the Head of the Village Community Empowerment Office of East Lampung Regency, which stated that the defendant as the Director of CV Dani Putra Perdana had been appointed by the Head of the Village Community Empowerment Office of East Lampung Regency to work on the Smart Village Independent Village project for 100 villages in East Lampung Regency.
The defendant sought investors, namely the victim witnesses R Abdurrachman and Deswan Ali. On Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 8.30 pm, the witnesses Abdurrachman and Deswan went to the defendant’s house with the aim of finding out the truth about the project.

“The witnesses wanted to know more about the smart village and asked what the prospects were regarding the project. Then the defendant made a presentation regarding the materials and equipment needed to install the smart village and the defendant also said that each installation of one smart village would generate a profit of Rp5 million from the installation of the smart village application and not to mention the profit obtained from the procurement of equipment.
“The defendant expressed obstacles because the defendant did not have the capital to work on it and to work on the smart village the defendant needed capital of Rp300 million which later if there were investors who wanted to provide him with this capital then the defendant was able to provide a profit of Rp3 million from each installation of a smart village package in each village,” he said.
Over time, the victim never received the profit promised by the defendant. Until in this case, the victim suffered a loss of Rp300 million.
