“It turns out that the welcome in Magelang City is also enthusiastic, it’s really extraordinary,” he said.
He admitted that on the way from Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore, he could do meditation. However, after arriving in Indonesia, there was very little time for meditation because he had to greet many people.
“Greeting each other, besides meditation. This is our part from the monks to share love. This does not interfere with meditation, it indicates tolerance,” he said.
This is the first time the monks have traveled from Thailand to Borobudur on foot. They often make tolerance trips in every country, but have never done it in Indonesia.
As monks who carry the mission of love, they hope that tolerance in Indonesia will continue to be maintained. Moreover, Indonesian people are known to be friendly, smiling, and harmonious.
