JABAR EKSPRES – PT PLN East Java Distribution Unit (UID) noted that 3,668 customers have taken advantage of PLN’s National Shopping Day (Harbelnas) program through the marketplace in the PLN Mobile application.
“In East Java, as many as 3,668 customers have taken advantage of this program. The largest number is from the Banyuwangi area with 484 customers, then the Kediri area with 361, and the South Surabaya area with 346 customers,” said PLN UID East Java General Manager Lasiran in a statement in Surabaya on Tuesday (5/30).
In the Harbelnas program, several micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) fostered by PLN East Java such as processed shredded Alsafood, drinks from wedang ginger Yoris and Panataran batik craft creations can be purchased through the PLN Mobile marketplace.

“Through this promo, we hope that PLN-assisted MSME products in East Java will have a wider market. In addition, people also get vouchers to add power. So what are you waiting for, take advantage of this program,” Lasiran said.
In the framework of Harbelnas, special customers who shop through the PLN Mobile marketplace with a minimum transaction of Rp125 thousand will get a voucher to add power up to the final power of 5,500 Volt Ampere (VA) at a special price of Rp250 thousand. This promo program applies to household customers, small businesses and small industries.
This promo is valid until May 31, 2023 and this promo applies to people who have become PLN customers before March 1, 2023.
Meanwhile, PLN President Director, Darmawan Prasodjo, hopes that this moment can bring PLN-assisted MSMEs to upgrade and even make a profit so that they can become a catalyst for driving the people’s economy.
“PLN provides a platform for MSMEs, with the lokapasar feature in the PLN Mobile application, it will clearly make it easier for business people to market their products while providing bundling promos and discount programs for adding power for PLN customers,” Darmawan said.
