Meanwhile, the Regent of Banyuwangi, Ipuk Fiestiandani, said that her party welcomed the additional flight on the Jakarta-Banyuwangi route by the SAJ airline.
“This is good news. Hopefully, the presence of this potential route can be an additional driver of the community’s economy,” she said.
According to Ipuk, the presence of Super Air Jet further complements flight options for business people, tourists, and the public. Moreover, Super Air Jet offers low-cost airline services, making it more affordable.
“This will be an attractive flight option for all parties who want to visit Banyuwangi, especially millennials, who want to travel, or get education in Banyuwangi. Because Super Air Jet is in the LCC position, of course the rates are competitive,” said Ipuk.
With the presence of Super Air Jet, flight options from Jakarta to Banyuwangi are increasing. Apart from Super Air Jet, the Jakarta-Banyuwangi PP route has been served by Batik Air and Citilink.
