JABAR EKSPRES – Metro Jaya Police sent the perpetrator of disturbances in several public places Yudo Andreawan (25) to Dr. Soeharto Heerdjan Mental Hospital (RSJ), Grogol, West Jakarta.

“The doctor recommended that the person concerned (Yudo Andreawan) be further treated at Grogol Mental Hospital,” said Head of Sub-Directorate of Ranmor Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya, Kompol Yuliansyah, in a written statement in Jakarta, Thursday (5/4).

Yuliansyah said the decision was the result of psychiatric observation conducted by doctors at Kramat Jati Police Hospital for 20 days.

The psychiatric observation examination of Yudo was carried out by involving several parties, including investigators and Yudo’s parents.

“The results of observations made by doctors at Kramat Jati Hospital for the previous 20 days,” he said.

However, Yuliansyah did not reveal the type of illness suffered by Yudo until he was finally recommended to be treated at the Mental Hospital because only the doctor knew about it.

“For the type of disease the doctor knows,” he said.

Previously, Polda Metro Jaya through Subdit Ranmor Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya was waiting for the results of a doctor’s observation to detain the perpetrator of disturbances in several public places Yudo Andreawan (25) whose video went viral on social media.

“Yes, investigators are waiting for the results of the observations concerned. We have not detained him yet,” said Head of Ranmor Sub-Directorate of Criminal Investigation Unit of Polda Metro Jaya Kompol Yuliansyah.

Yuliansyah explained that his party is still waiting for the results of psychiatric observations from doctors conducted at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta.

“The doctor’s instructions are that the person concerned be observed for one week at Kramat Jati Hospital,” he explained.
