JABAR EKSPRES — Taiwanese two-wheeled automotive company, Kymco, confirmed its presence at the 2023 Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS), bringing all their electrified products.
KYMCO Director, Chen Jung Lung, in an official statement, Thursday (5/4) said that the Indonesian market is very potential for the development of electric vehicles, including two-wheelers. Moreover, the government is very supportive of its development with various policies to accelerate the realization of electric vehicles.
“KYMCO’s participation in the Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) 2023 exhibition is a form of Kymco’s support for the development of the electric vehicle market, especially electric motors which will be the future of mobility in the world, including in Indonesia,” Chen Jung Lung said.

According to him, the exhibition event that focuses on electric vehicles will be the right space for the KYMCO brand, to be able to directly greet Indonesian automotive consumers through the various electric vehicles they release.
For example, the KYMCO Downtown 250i and KYMCO Like 150i Noodoe. According to KYMCO, the two scooters not only focus on a futuristic and stylish design, but the motorbike is also claimed to be very tough to use in various onroad terrains.
The KYMCO Downtown 250i itself is a motorcycle in the maxi scooter class that has caught the attention of premium scooter lovers in Indonesia.
The motorcycle has a handsome appearance thanks to the ring-shaped DRL lights, there is also a USB port to charge the user’s cellphone battery, and it is embedded with telescopic and double swing suspensions that make it comfortable to cross various road contours.
The same is true for the KYMCO Like 150i Noodoe, which is aimed at fans of classic scooter models that are now quite popular in the country’s market. The bike is equipped with GPS navigation features, dual ABS braking, and other advanced systems such as a device to receive smart phone notifications.
