JABAR ESKPRES —DC released the second trailer for The Flash featuring Ezra Miller as Barry Allen on Tuesday (4/25).
The Flash’s latest trailer reveals Barry Allen’s motives, which are the main premise of the movie.
The trailer opens with Bruce Wayne’s (Michael Keaton) conversation with two versions of Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) from different universes.
Wayne reveals the reason he became Batman was because he was hit by a childhood tragedy when he saw his parents murdered.
The wound triggered Wayne to transform into Batman, aka The Dark Knight, until he cracked down on crime in Gotham.
The 2-minute 24-second video then switches to showing the tragedy that Barry Allen experienced as a child. Just like Batman, Allen also watched his parents die on the same day.

However, he chose a different path than Wayne. Allen, who became a superhero named The Flash, used his superpowers to travel back in time.
He tried to change the events to keep his parents alive. However, his actions caused the universe to fall apart as future events were also changed.
“I went to the past to save my parents, but I destroyed the universe,” said Barry Allen.
As a result, General Zod (Michael Shannon) from Man of Steel (2013) reappears, despite having been defeated by Superman. The trailer then shows Barry Allen confused by the impact of his actions.
He also sought help from various superheroes, including Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aka Batman from his universe, Bruce Wayne (Michael Keaton) from another universe, to Kara Zor-El aka Supergirl (Sasha Calle).
They then work together to defeat General Zod and the thousands of super troops deployed. On the other hand, Allen must also restore the past to its original state in order to preserve the future.
