“We simply want to be transparent, accountable and more efficient in our operations. Because of the challenges ahead we are required to work more efficiently, effectively and with high productivity. We are working with several consultants in order to implement digital transformation or automation,” he also said.
Aiming to continue to innovate in digitally transforming the company, APP Sinar Mas then carried out the Garuda+ project which began in November 2021.
“We are working with SAP and Tietoevery. The whole process of automation and digital transformation, we believe we are on a good track supported by several collaborations with several parties who are experts in their fields,” he also said.
The digital transformation project aims to harmonize business processes, human resources (HR), and digital technology. It is hoped that the optimal application of technology through Garuda+ can make APP Sinar Mas move towards Industry 4.0 and become a sustainable and increasingly efficient business.
“Of course efficiency, process acceleration, and reliable data and information. Data becomes faster and more accurate, so that other processes such as decision making, services and others become faster,” Suhendra said.
Suhendra also ensured that the digital transformation process carried out by APP Sinar Mas is still ongoing. This is because the digitalization process is an ongoing process.
“Therefore, we continue to carry out the process and hope that what we do in the process of digitizing this transformation will make us more competitive, efficient, faster in various processes, more accurate, so that we can produce good, quality products and better services to consumers,” Suhendra also said.
