JABAR EKSPRES — The West Jakarta Municipal Government has opened registration for young men and women in the region who want to take part in the city-level Abang None 2023 selection.
“We have opened the selection from April 7 to May 26, 2023,” said Head of Marketing and Attraction Section of West Jakarta Tourism, Economic and Creative Sub-Department (Sudin), Gun Gun Mujiantara when contacted in Jakarta, Tuesday (11/4).
Gun Gun said the registration form can be accessed through the abnon-disparekraf.jakarta.go.id website.
On the page, he explained several general requirements that must be met by applicants for Abang None West Jakarta 2023.
Among them are Indonesian citizenship and must have an Identification Card (KTP).

In addition, the minimum age of participants is 18 and a maximum of 25 years as of May 2023. Furthermore, the height of female participants is at least 165 centimeters (cm) and 170 cm for males.
“The last education is high school equivalent and drug-free, good personality, broad insight,” said Gun Gun.
In addition, selection participants are also required to have foreign language skills. Finally, the participants have never been married and may not get married while serving as Abang None Jakarta for the next one year.

He continued, there are many benefits if you want to be part of Abang None West Jakarta. One of them is getting broad insights and a lot of experience in the field of government.
“In addition to getting debriefing, knowledge and experience, we will also get assignments in Regional Work Unit (SKPD) and Regional Work Unit (UKPD) events,” he said.
Not only that, participants who are selected as Abang None West Jakarta have the opportunity to be selected as Abang None DKI Jakarta Province.
