About Chucky Factory Land
Experimental pop band Chucky Factory Land is a four-piece band hailing from Hat Yai, a city in Southern Thailand. The band was formed in 2020 and made their debut with the release of their first EP Oh My Slime. Consisting of members Big, Tee and Gong, who met in high school and bonded over their similar music tastes, as well as drummer Por, Chucky Factory Land had their start in the scene joining multiple band competitions in Thailand to pursue their music dream and get themselves known.
Growing up in Hat Yai, where there were no festivals or gigs to go to, the boys’ only exposure to music was the internet, where they discovered international acts like Arctic Monkeys and Frank Ocean, who have greatly influenced the music of Chucky Factory Land today. An exchange trip to Texas by two of the members also led them to discover a love for rap and hip hop.
