While on the second day, Sunday (8/27), a ‘drag bike’ competition was held, followed by more than 350 participants from various cities, including national riders such as Ali Topan and Nanang Klowor.
The competition consisted of 20 classes with winners 1-5 in each class.
In the first round of the drag race, a national record was set for the Monster Diesel 3,500 CC class with a time of 7.089 seconds on behalf of Budi from HJA Racing Team.
“Alhamdulillah, I’m very happy with this excellent result and managed to break the all-Indonesia record with a time of 7.089 seconds,” said Budi.
Budi, who managed to set a national record, hopes to continue to advance the automotive world in the country.
“I hope to get even better results at the opportunity to break the record at six seconds,” Budi said.
Meanwhile, Akbar Fitriyansah, an athlete coached by Andi Asmara, won first place in the Sedan Stock class up to 1,800 CC.
These achievements will continue to be honed by improving training and participating in various local and national championships, Akbar said.
