Banyuwangi Regency Gives Young People “Startup” Business Skills

JABAR EKSPRES – The Banyuwangi Regency Government, East Java, provides local young people with the ability to build startup businesses and tens of millions of rupiah in business capital through the Jagoan Digital program.

Banyuwangi Regent Ipuk Fiestiandani said that on Friday (8/25), there were 76 young people participating in 26 teams of the Jagoan Digital program who presented interesting startup business ideas such as applications that are needed by the community.

“I see that the ideas are still humanist and are indeed needed by the community. This is very good because friends do not only think about the technology side, but synergize with human needs and expertise,” said Regent Ipuk, in Banyuwangi, Sunday (8/27).

She also said she was proud that creative young people could spawn innovative start-up business ideas, while witnessing presentations from the participating teams.

Ipuk hopes that the ideas generated by these young people can be realized well and contribute to regional progress.

“We want local startups to be able to penetrate into a wider startup ecosystem. Both for the market and for capitalization. Hopefully, in the future, startups from Banyuwangi can be born that make the region proud,” he said again.

One of the Tambalin Team members, Ahmad Rifki Kadafi, said that he had an innovative startup idea that made an application for tire patches and motor vehicle repair services.

He offers a solution for vehicles that experience tire bursts and damage to the Banyuwangi area.

“Our projection is that we will partner with tire patchers and vehicle repair shops throughout Banyuwangi. Customers just need to choose the nearest workshop equipped with location coordinates and can choose the type of service needed,” he said.

“So our focus is on speed, effectiveness, and of course this is what motorists need,” Khadafi added.
