Hino Presents Two New Vehicles at GIIAS 2023

JABAR EKSPRES – At the Gaikindo Indonesia Internatioal Auto Show (GIIAS) 2023, PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia (HMSI) presents two of its newest product lines, the Hino 300 Microbus 115 SDBL 4×4 and the Hino 500 – FM 280 JD R Mining Spec.

Hino trucks and buses are designed with safety, comfort, and efficiency in mind for the betterment of our customers’ businesses,” said HMSI COO-Director Santiko Wardoyo in an official statement received in Jakarta, Tuesday (8/15).

The Hino 300 Microbus 115 SDBL 4×4 comes as the first commercial vehicle made by an Indonesian APM with a 4×4 configuration. The vehicle produces maximum traction for conditions in various road conditions that will be traveled.

The latest commercial car from Hino is also equipped with transfer shifting, transfer case, front propeller shaft and differential to face various tough terrains so as to provide reliability and also guaranteed durability. With a front and rear 4×4 wheel drive system, the Hino 300 Microbus 115 SDBL 4×4 strongly supports employee shuttle operations in plantation and mining locations with Off-Road road conditions.

As for the Hino 500 – FM 280 JD R Mining Spec, the car is equipped with a retarder that is an electromagnetic additional braking system that is able to slow down the speed of the vehicle in the mining road area, to improve driving safety, and efficient use of brake canvas.

The car also uses a Euro 4 standard engine type J08E-WD with a power output of 280 PS / 2,500 rpm.

With a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 26 tons, this truck has features for mining terrain such as ES Start, which prevents the vehicle from backing up when stopping on an incline even if the brake pedal is released.

When the vehicle starts to move forward, the ES start system helps to start smoothly on the uphill. In addition, there are lug tires, power windows, door locks and cool air conditioning for driver comfort when operating at mining sites.
