Diananda managed to occupy the sixth seed out of a total of 140 female recurve athletes in the qualifying round on Tuesday (1/8). This made the Surabaya-born athlete secure a place in the last 16.

Meanwhile, Nayla Putri and Alpriani Eka, who were ranked 94th and 96th respectively in the qualifying round, will have to start their individual women’s recurve matches in the first round on Thursday.

Nayla will face Chinese Taipei’s 19th seed Lei Chien Ying in the last 48, while Alpriani will face Hnyp Solomiya, the 16th seed from Ukraine.
