IHYA 2023 Supports Indonesia’s Vision to Become the World’s Leading Halal Producer

“We want to convey a message to industry players, business people, that they are not alone. We will help products to become halal certified as well as market access both in the global and domestic markets,” Agus said.

The Ministry of Industry held the first IHYA in 2021, which produced 14 winners and one Best of The Best award. In organizing in 2022, IHYA was awarded to 20 winners plus one Best of The Best award winner.

In organizing IHYA in 2023, which is the third time, the Ministry of Industry will give 21 awards, including for the best halal innovation, the best social program, the best halal supply chain, the best small industry, and the best halal industrial area.

Acting Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry Putu Juli Ardika said that IHYA was held again in 2023 to give appreciation to stakeholders who have played an active role and continuously innovate in the growth, development and empowerment of the national halal industry.

The implementation of IHYA is expected to continue to be a driving force in increasing public awareness and understanding of the national halal industry.

This event invites the participation of the entire halal industry ecosystem, which consists of industrial companies, industrial estate companies, government agencies, higher education institutions, financial service institutions, and community organizations.

The series of processes for organizing IHYA will be carried out online through the ihya.kemenperin.go.id page, with the participant registration period which will be open until August 25, 2023 at 23:59 WIB.

To enliven the IHYA series, the public can also participate in content creation competitions in the form of photos, videos and posters with the theme of the Halal Industry Production Process. The public can access more information via the Instagram page @industrihalalindonesia.
