The Black Sea grain deal was signed in Istanbul in July 2022 to create a safe corridor for food exports from Ukraine’s three Black Sea ports.
The deal has helped control soaring prices and ease the global food crisis by restoring supplies of wheat, sunflower oil, fertilizer and other products from Ukraine – one of the world’s largest grain exporters.
