JABAR EKSPRES – A total of eight people have died in the recent extreme heat wave in Mexico, media reported on Friday evening (16/6).
Extreme temperatures in the northwestern and southeastern parts of the country, several degrees above the seasonal average, were to blame, according to Mexican media reports.

Mexico’s Health Ministry reported that a number of people were hospitalized with complaints of sunstroke due to the heat wave.
The hot weather, especially severe in the states of Sonora, Veracruz, Quintana Roo and Oaxaca, will continue for several more days, according to the report.

Meteorologists advise that unless necessary, it is advisable not to go out of the house during the day when the sun is shining directly.
The hottest days in recent years were experienced in Mexico, when temperatures reached more than 40 degrees, according to reports.
