JABAR EKSPRES – Deputy Governor of North Sumatra, Musa Rajekshah, released 40 graduates of the Sulaimaniyah Sumatra Tahfiz Foundation to continue their education in Turkey.
“Our message to our children who will continue their education to Turkey, you keep adab, keep your memorization because life in the pesantren after leaving will be different. The environment will affect us a lot, don’t get along with the wrong people,” said Ijeck, Musa Rajekshah’s nickname, in Medan, Saturday (6/17).
Ijeck hoped that the students would make good use of the time and opportunity to study in Turkey and be able to return to Indonesia to preach, serve the nation and their home regions.
“Hopefully later you can return to your homeland with the knowledge gained, serve this nation and country, serve your region and hometown,” Ijeck said.
Ijeck appreciated the Tahfiz Sulaimaniyah Foundation which continues to be committed to producing generations of Quran memorizers in Indonesia, especially in North Sumatra.
“On this occasion we would like to thank the Sulaimaniyah Foundation for contributing to the development of science, how children can memorize the Quran and and God willing, also increase their piety to Allah SWT,” he said.
Chairman of the Tahfiz Sulaimaniyah Foundation throughout Sumatra Murat Karayelderem also gave advice to the students who had graduated and were leaving for Turkey. According to him, students must have two characters in life, namely moral character and performance character.
“The substance of education is not about skills, nor about abilities or skills but the substance of education is about character or akhlakul karimah. There are two characters, namely moral character and performance character. Morals such as honesty, humility, faith and piety,” said Murat.
