JABAR EKSPRES – Theatrical actions and attractions from clowns were invaded by visitors who wanted to take selfies or just see the Indonesia Open 2023 Fire Boat event at Istora Stadium, Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta, Tuesday (6/13).
Many visitors enjoyed the action of the clowns who are members of the “Aku Badut Indonesia” community.
On the sidelines of the attraction, the reporter had the opportunity to interview one of the performers, Apriyanto, who revealed that the show would take place on Tuesday and Thursday.
“On the 13th (Tuesday) and Thursday the 15th, tomorrow we are empty (not performing). Just two days,” Apriyanto told the reporter.

During the theatrical performance, Apriyanto said he performed in areas outside the stadium. The performance was carried out by nine personnel who played a number of attractions such as throwing bottles and walking with a large ball.
“Performed (at the event only before Covid so the event was quiet. Like the crowd is also not allowed. While now it is liberated and all masks have been removed. Even we used to perform while still wearing masks, now we don’t,” said Apriyanto.
One of the visitors named Rusdy expressed his enthusiasm for the organization of the Indonesia Open 2023 Fire Boat which was so lively and festive.
“Badminton is our flagship sport in Indonesia so it is very much anticipated that there will be another championship in Indonesia. During the pandemic yesterday, we could not see the match directly so we are very happy that this championship can be seen again,” said Rusdy.
Regarding the champion who is favored, Rusdy revealed that he championed Indonesia’s mainstay men’s singles badminton player Athony Sinusika Ginting who had just won the 2023 Singapore Open.
“My idol is Athony Ginting, he just won in Singapore yesterday,” said Rusdy, who is from South Kalimantan.
