JABAR EKSPRES – Assistant Vice President of the Palestinian Football Association (PFA) Susan Shalabi stated that she would not look for who wins and loses in the FIFA Matchday match between Palestine and Indonesia at Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium (GBT) Surabaya on June 14, 2023.
“I will not look for who wins or loses, we are brothers,” Susan said when accompanying the Palestinian national team to train at the 10 November Stadium in Surabaya on Sunday afternoon.
In addition, Susan also expressed her gratitude for what all Indonesian people have done in supporting her country.
“Thank you very much, I really appreciate what the Indonesian people have done in supporting Palestine, including the President and Vice President of Indonesia, as well as the Indonesian soccer association,” she said.
According to him, Indonesia will always have a place in his heart and is not only a friend but already a brother.
“Indonesia is not just a friend, but a brother. And we are happy to come here,” she said.
Moreover, according to Susan, Indonesia gave up the opportunity to host the U-20 World Cup.
“I really respect the people of Indonesia; we will never forget that. At that time, we were very sad because Indonesia did not get that opportunity,” she said.
The Palestinian national team players began their first training at Gelora Stadium 10 November after landing in Surabaya this morning.
