Fire in North Jakarta, 25 Houses and Dozens of Vehicles Burned Down

JABAR EKSPRES – A fire broke out in a residential area in Pademangan, North Jakarta, Sunday (11/6). As a result of this incident, 25 houses were burned down.

North Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-dept. picket officer Eko Budianto said the fire allegedly started from a gas cylinder leak in one of the houses.

“There are some suspicions while from a fried rice seller or from a burning house, but we need to confirm further,” said Eko Budianto when confirmed.

Eko further explained that his party mobilized North Jakarta fire trucks and assistance cars from Central Jakarta. Apart from the house, one car and several motorbikes were also burned.

“There are no casualties. The obstacle is that it is dense for entry until it is pulled, that’s what disturbed the first time too,” he said.
